Why Won't PROPERT MATRIX Uncheck Some Boxes When Working With Assests?a

To briefly summarize my issue, I went into the property matrix to change the “Destroy On Player Building Placement” setting.

I’m using some props as walls in my world and anytime you build around them they break instantly… Some props automatically come with this setting unchecked but not the ones I’m currently using.

I tried unchecking this box, but nothing happens it’s locked. I even tried checking the box on an asset that already has the setting off, but it won’t work either way. Almost all of the settings in the “Building Section” of the Property Matrix can’t be changed for some reason, they’re all locked except the “Ignore collision with critical actors” setting.

Does anyone know why this is? This is the only setting I need changed and it’s been driving me crazy that I can’t get it to unlock.

What I’ve Done So Far:

  1. I’ve tried turning on some other settings in the property matrix to see if it would unlock the setting
  2. I tried turning the setting on with assets that already come with the setting off
  3. I’ve tried changing the build type from “Prop” to something else
  4. I’ve changed all of the “Building Bounds” and “Building Attachment” settings

Nothing has worked so far!
