Why Unreal Engine is not able to give the opportunity of smooth dragging?

For example I want to place a Rifle
in the hand of a mesh/character in the
editor…

Shouldn’t you be using sockets for this? The item then snaps to the socket you choose from a list. No need to move anything in the first place. Consider it, it speeds things up.

Also, should you wish to provide some constructive (or otherwise) criticism or suggest a new feature, do so here:

This Question is asked many times by different users and unfortunately answered not correctly by the community because the community thinks they were asking about movement of players in the game.
But I want to clearly ask, why I am not able to drag Items smoothly?
For example I want to place a Rifle in the hand of a mesh/character in the editor… while dragging the rifle to fix it on the correct position… the rifle jumps in pixels and this way a job of 2 minutes takes 40 or 60 minutes.

I see this issue in every version of Unreal engine. Please consider this issue seriously and fix it in the next update.

Perhaps you forgot about the snapping setting:

It’s buttery smooth on my end - I can set it with the mouse to the precision of .01 uu

Could you demonstrate the issue?
