Why unreal engine crash after start?

hi guys! i downloaded unreal engine but when i start it, the program crash in the project windows. anybody can help me? thank you guys!

What are your system specs?

Does just the engine crash or does the computer turn off?

My specs are,
Windows 7, 64 bit.
Ram 6 gb.
I7.
And nvidia 540 m with 2 gb dedicated .
however, only goes out the program unreal engine editor.

This doesn’t meet recommended system requirements. It could be the ram or the video card. Laptops need to be a beast to run UE4 well, much more cost effective to have a desktop to develop on.

The recommend minimum video card is the 470 GTX. The comparison here with the 540m shows it’s below that in performance. GPU Boss 470 GTX vs 540m

I have a 750Ti, which for the most part works, but it’s not ideal

Yes is a laptop, ah, when i try to start the program the video driver go in crashing then reset.
