Bcuz 4 was an organized mess and 5 is more linear… if the new bells and whistles are not to your taste, then leave them off… but the cpu gpu is not addressed in 4… so you know, just use what you need
On a more serious note, UE4 is still rock-solid and lighter for many teams, but UE5 brings Nanite/Lumen, World Partition, better editor UX, and a future-proof pipeline that’s worth the early rough edges.
