Why? thanks opinion here not to bother or be a rat kid,
You are wrong 5>4 , go back to school.
Bcuz 4 was an organized mess and 5 is more linear… if the new bells and whistles are not to your taste, then leave them off… but the cpu gpu is not addressed in 4… so you know, just use what you need
On a more serious note, UE4 is still rock-solid and lighter for many teams, but UE5 brings Nanite/Lumen, World Partition, better editor UX, and a future-proof pipeline that’s worth the early rough edges. Maybe it’s basically upgrading from a dependable corolla to a rocket-powered hatchback?lol yeah, it squeaks sometimes but once you hit the throttle you’re not going back believe me
UE4 is still holding up really well, but it’s pretty clear that Epic is focusing all their long-term support and new features on UE5. If you want to stay within the actively evolving ecosystem, moving forward is basically unavoidable, even if some of the changes feel a bit strange at first. In the end, sticking with UE4 is fine for stable projects, but UE5 is where all the real development and future improvements are going to land.
