Why UE5 keep crashing on my PC after I just downloaded it

Below is the report I got from the reporter, and the other versions of UE4 also crash with the Megascan plugin install from bridge by showing the similar report

The same here with the same history of errors. The previous work around was to remove the MEGASCANS plugin, but I am at a loss for UE5.

Any help to get UE5 up and running would be much appreciated.

uninstalling astrill worked for me

Hey FelixFG, DerekLeee…

You do not have to uninstall Astrill to get have both Ue4-5EA Megascans and Astrill to work on the same device.

I discovered that following these steps will allow both to run perfectly-

  1. Open Astrill
  2. With Ctrl pressed open the Astrill options menu.
  3. Keeping Ctrl pressed open the HELP menu and select LSP Uninstall

Now both Megascans plugin and Astrill will work absolutely fine.

Hope this helps
