I had a skeletal mesh with no physiscs, after adding physics, this is what I got for collision. That huge square around the mesh is causing me problem. How do I remove it?
Hey @TheSceriffo!
Would you mind sharing your physics asset so we can see how you set it up? More than likely the issue you are having lies there.
Alright @TheSceriffo,
That does seem very strange. It looks like the physics should be correct. That kind of looks like the platform. Is the above the result when you place it in level? Your original image kind of looks like What happens when you simulate your physics, does that look correct?
I also noticed that you have show floor turned off and the lines may line up with were the floor is supposed to be. If you hit show floor, does that correct the issue?
Hey @TheSceriffo!
Checking in, were you able to figure out what was going wrong?
I did not figure out the collision but I did fix the error that was creating the issue and made me look at the collision
Hey @TheSceriffo,
Would you mind sharing what the problem causing it was and your solution just in case someone else has the same problem? We can also still work on fixing your collision if that is still an issue!
In the viewport under my mesh details I checked use attach parent bound. Before the mesh would disappear under certain angles but now it doesn’t anymore
