why the payment screen background is always Bright White even if you have dark option engaged due to accessibility needs

Good day, Ladies and gentlemen. My question to you is this: “Why is the payment screen background set to auto default to be brilliant bright white even if you have your settings set to Dark?”

Personally, I have dark settings enabled on as many things as possible, as this is an accessibility issue related to my vision. With screens flashing bright light, it can hurt or damage my eyes. I also worry about Epliptic users and how often they have fits in response to the brilliantly bright screen flash from dark to light on the payment screen.

I can understand if it’s a security requirement to view that information clearly, especially if they need to print information. Black on white is so much easier to print and also cheaper, or if you are automatically taking screenshots to capture information to prevent fraudulent attempts to fool the system. However, wouldn’t it be easier to program the shot to change the Background colour to always be white in the photo and let those with accessibility issues keep the dark backgrounds or issue a warning every time we load that page, so we can close our eyes to avoid the flash.

Many thanks for looking into this health and safety issue.
