Why objects stop moving in the level if clip is set to 0.00001?

I set the near clip plane in unreal engine to 0.00001 and the objects stops moving when I dragged them.
I did this because I am locked with very small assets and and zooming them to set sockets on the weapons remove the weapon before I reach the socket location to transform it.
So I set the near clip plane to 0.00001 and now I can work with small assets.
The problem is why even the zoom limit is very small and why setting near clip plane to 0.00001 makes the object can’t move in UE4.23.1
