Hello ChenJuye,
Do you mean that whenever you move a node or click-drag, it creates a comment? Is this only in the Material Editor, or in Blueprints too?
Yes, it is. this issue happen in my Material Editor , not sure if it will happen to the blueprints ,because I haven’t use Blueprints Editor, I guess it will .
What version of the engine are you running? 4.4.3? 4.5.1?
Also, can you send me your ‘dxdiag’?
Where I can find the “dxdiag”?thank you ~
I guess you use Windows 7? You press “Start” on the bottom left and type “dxdiag” inside the search field. You can directly press Enter and it will load the dxdiag.
Jonathan also still needs the Version of the Engine your are currently running (:

I’m using the 4.4.3version.
wish you can help me to solve this problem, and I have another question.look at the new pic.I bulided my lighting ,but the shadow seems bad , do you know why?
As far as I can tell your light may not interact properly with the type of mesh that you are trying to cast shadows on. Another issue is you may have lighting settings disabled for that particular object.
I don’t know what is causing the comment blocks. Here are some suggestions that might fix the problem.
- If you haven’t already, try restarting the computer.
- See if this problem still happens in a new, empty project.
- See if this problem happens in the 4.5.1 version of the engine.
- Try reinstalling the engine.
Let me know if any of these help you solve the problem.
@ChenJuye:
Just throwing out an idea here, but could this be caused by a stuck ‘C’ key? Try disconnecting your keyboard and mouse from the computer, and then plugging them back in a few seconds later, and make sure the ‘C’ key is not stuck pushed down.
Also do you use any programs such as AutoHotkey to re-bind key press or mouse click actions? If so turn these off as well and reload the editor.
I believe that ChenJuye also uses either a Chinese keyboard or the Chinese key-mapping built into Windows, which could potentially be causing issues with the ‘Create Comment’ hotkey.
The only way to be 100% sure that they keyboard isn’t the problem is to unplug the keyboard and try using the material editor with just the mouse. If the comments keep appearing, the keyboard is not the cause.
