Hi! I have a misunderstanding about how it should work. I want the new capsule collision to behave like a normal one, but it is not working
I tried to change a lot of setting from Collision , but nothing. I don’t understant how…
The red capsule it;s the new one. It doesn’t block anything, even with BlockAll from Collision
Capsule Component Collision
New Capsule Component Collision
It is possible to make two capsules with same properties, these being the same as the normal component capsule?
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong…
The default character is coded to only use the supplied capsule. If you want to use another capsule, you need to write your own character, I’m afraid…

Then how can I make that capsule just block what is around it?
I saw how this man did it, I did exactly as in the video, but it doesn’t work… Unreal Engine 4 how to create horizontal characters that doesn't fit the default vertical capsule - YouTube
I want something like that or at least, the capsule should print something when it touches anything. It;s possible?
I think this process might work for adding an extra capsule, but it does not disable the default one.

I tried but the same thing happened…
I don’t understand why it’s so complicated. I did exactly as in the video but without result… (Unreal Engine 4 how to create horizontal characters that doesn't fit the default vertical capsule - YouTube )
Sphere Collision
I don’t think it works for the guy in the video. Maybe the nose blocks, but the other capsule would too…
