Like title say why is UE4 22gb big, Game engines like Godot3 is around 20mb, Cryengine is 8gb, Armory3D is around 1gb, why the hell is Ue4 this big?
It’s around 6GB by itself, but if you download anything from the marketplace it stores the original files to where you can add the content to projects without having to redownload.
Plugins are 12GB and Debugging Tools are 9GB
Yeah, it’s the plugins and debugging symbols that do it.
You can modify what is installed if you don’t need all components. (note that you can control this prior to the initial installation too)
