Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Hello, I am very new to UE5 and I want to play around with the Mannequinns and the Metahumans to pose them and use them as reference for my drawings. When I use the rig like so, the toes stretch. Why is this happening?
Thank you!

The stretching of toes in UE5 can occur due to various reasons, including incorrect weight painting, incorrect rigging, or incorrect animation settings. To resolve this issue, you can try the following:

  • Verify the weight painting: Make sure the weights are painted correctly on the toes and the surrounding vertices.
  • Check the rig: Ensure the rig is set up correctly, with the correct bones, constraints, and IK settings.
  • Adjust the animation settings: Try adjusting the animation settings in UE5, such as frame rate, playback speed, and key frame interpolation.

I personally think that this is due to the IK setup. If you move the character closer to the ground, does the issue disappear?

So, this happens when I move the body_ctrl upwards, the toes stay glued to the ground. If I move it downwards the knees bend like they should. I should mention that I didn’t do anything to the Mannequin or to the Metahuman, the weight painting, rig, bones etc are with the default “factory settings” from UE5.
