Why is there over 30 000 triangles drawn when there is nothing?


I am bit confused or perhaps the triangle count does not reflect the actual triangles.
It states that currently over 30 000 triangles are being drawn.

But there is nothing on screen.
How does this work?


I am not using any form of blur so it cannot be the bokek sprite count.

Sky sphere in the scene?

EDIT: Oh and if you switch to the wireframe view, maybe you can find some further potential culprits.

If thats a screenshot taken while in the editor, then what your seeing is the Slate UI, even in a blank scene there is 30k poly’s rendering. To get a real picture of the number of triangles drawn in your game, use standalone mode.

And no there was no skysphere.
