I have a blueprint class that has a radial force with a very high impulse as part of it’s components. It starts disabled, and then when it hits something it fires an impulse, and things around it should be smashed around. However what actually happens is the missile just explodes, and nothing happens to any of the physics bodies. Stranger still is if I bump a physics body to wake it up and then shoot it at right about the time I bump it - it’s affected by the force - but even then only for an extremely short window before it becomes immune to the force again.
So I tried performing a rigid body wake-up before the impulse, and the results are exactly the same. Am I missing some key element?
[Edit] I looked everything over and it seems that the only 'force' I'm getting right now is the separation of the missile when it first spawns, the radial force component is having no effect at all
