After a crash and restart, Unreal asked me to load an autosave of my character. Since then, the head is disconnected from the body.
I’ve already tried multiple tutorials on attaching the face to the body, but nothing works. The head doesn’t move at all — not even facial animations are playing.
When I drag a fresh instance of the same character blueprint into the scene and use the exact same animation, everything works fine.
So it seems like something in the autosaved version is broken. I can’t find any way to fix it. Does anyone know what could cause this or how to repair it?
