Why is the glass cube blocking the directional light - UE5.3



I’m not sure you can have colored translucent shadows with Lumen.

A (maybe not ideal) option is to have a duplicate of the object with a different Material, and have one of them NOT casting shadows in your scene.

Hi, thanks for the reply, actually I don’t need coloured shadows, just need sunlight coming through clear glass such as windows, is this possible with lumen, kind regards

In the image attached above I’ve unticked shadows for the office windows which lets light pass through them, on the cube placed on the floor cast shadows is ticked. I don’t want to turn the cast shadows option off for all glass in the scene. This will be very tedious, I thought it might be a shader issue or something I’m doing wrong
