Why is the finished model displayed in the middle of a box

I didnt see any one else asking this question so i thought i would

After processing when viewing the finished textured mesh for some reason my model is displayed in a box.

Most PG software I have tried actually gives me a landscape only limited by the range of the images i use.

While I think CR is great software I would like to know if this is what the exported model will look like.

That box is the reconstruction area that you either defined before starting the reconstruction or that RC defined for you if you either forgot to set it or just plain didn’t set it at all.

It is part of the reconstruction algorythm.
A while back I think it has been announced that the aim is to get rid of it eventually…
