Why is the effect different despite having the same light source parameters?
I created a project (M) and hoped that the lighting in the scene would be the same as that in another project (S) that I downloaded. In my project M, I set the parameters of the light source exactly the same as those in S, but it seems to have no effect. Including DirectionalLight, PostProcessVolume, AtomSphericFog, and SkyLight. And the positions and angles have all been set to be the same. I also checked the rendering settings for the other two projects, and they were the same. How can I solve this problem?
Ye, The mesh is nanite, Find an opportunity to give it a try. Additionally, I turned the anti-aliasing to the highest level and it improved significantly. Why is that? Looking forward to your reply.
i don’t have exact dictionary answer but from what i understand, what anti-aliasing does is smooth out those jagged lines that you may see on thin meshes or sharp edges, setting it to highest which would be i guess at (TSR) does solve the issue but sometime at the cost of performance.
