Why is my particle soooo blurryđŸ˜¡

Why is my particle so blurry… I just got UE5 5 days ago. I have never used any 3D rendering software before so I looked up tutorials on UE5 mainly on the Niagara System. I watched a video which explained things very well and everything was fine. I decided to delete the file and restart again so I can be better at understanding functions and layout but when I started the same project following the same step my particular was now a little blurry and as I continued thru the tutorial, the same tutorial by the same guy the same video, the blur become worse and worse. That was 5 days ago since then I have been deleting projects and restarting projects, deleting software and redownloading software. No matter what I do the particle is just too blurry. I want to create simulate fires and portals but the particle is just tooo blurry. Somebody help me I’ve been stuck for 5 days on one thing it’s frustrating me and destroying my enthusiasm to learn UE5. There’s no point in learning a software if my projects are unusable.

Hey there @TaBuda3! Welcome to the community! I think what you’re seeing is that the default particle itself actually has a feathered edge, and when you reduce opacity it becomes very clear so it seems like it get’s blurrier. For reference the default particle looks like this:

If you need a sharper particle texture you may need to make a copy of the existing particle material, then change the hardness to 1 and it will remove that feathering. That said, the feathering is there for a more smooth look to the particles. Here’s what that would look like:
