Why is my imported object stretched and tiny in the editor?

Hey everyone,

I am a beginner and I’m struggling with the object import from blender. When I import my object (there are no textures applied) to UE5 the object is stretched, in the mesh editor, it’s even worse.
Also, when I switch to the scale mode and pull the center of the pivot, it only scales the X axis.
I have so much more questions about functionalities that just “stop working” mid process, but I would like to start with the above first.

It may be that the export/import file formats / tools you’re using don’t work well with non-uniform scales. You may get better results if you “collapse transforms” or “bake to mesh” before you export. (I don’t know the exact operator to use in Blender; in 3ds Max it’s “Reset Xform”)

Separately, if you click the padlock in the “scale” field it will scale x, y, and z the same amount when you scale it.
