Why is my imported mesh missing textures even with material applied?

Hi! i’m extremely new to unreal and am trying to build a scene using my own models.
So I imported a set of models that have been UV unwrapped together to share the same texture.
I applied a material instance to the meshes containing only the base-color.However, the colors are not being applied to all parts of the meshes.

as seen in the picture the “worldgridmaterial” is still visible on the legs of the shelf, instead of my texture material. It is an FBX import from Maya, the mesh is combined from separate parts.

The table in the second pic is also done in the same way, but works as it should.

here are the same objects with basecolor applied in substance painter without issue

Any help is appreciated  I’m really clueless on why this happens.

Try making the Master material “two sided” enable it and apply the “Two sided sign” function to the material. It worked for me.
Also duplicate your base material and and input it in add function before connecting it to the “basecolor”

Hello @Genmaichacha!
If you had combined all the asset to 1 because they share the same UV, and when you import the fbx to unreal it shows you the classic default material to one of them, what you can do is check in Maya the amount of materials, because probably you have applied 2 materials to 1 mesh, that’s could be the reason Unreal shows you 2 slot materials
