Hi,
it seems to me that the “Crouched Eye Height” doesn’t affect the actual height of the camera while crouched. I would like to lower the view considerably. Any suggestions?

I have tried to re-read all the relevant documentation and no help. I even saw someone wondering the same thing in youtube.
Epic? Any suggestions on this? It’s hard to crouch and crawl through a air vent when the head sticks out
Hey,
We are currently aware of the issue and its in our database for our developers to review. As a workaround, you can set the location of the camera when crouching similar to below to accomplish the same effect (adjust the Z tied to Crouch to the desired height and set it to default when un-crouching).

Aahhh, ok! Thank you for the workaround guide!
If anyone is still looking for the answer the capsule radius is preventing you from going as low as you want so if you want to go lower, change the capsule radius to a lower value then change your crouch height.
Just remember to use a timeline+lerp with a reverse for getting up again or a interp. So you can get a smooth transition cheers
