Why is everything lit up?

Hello, I have an issue with my scene where everything is lit up even if I disable my directional and rect lights (the only two lights I have in the scene). This is a problem for me as it is not allowing me to experiment with features like emmissive colours on materials (as seen in the screenshot, the boxes that aren’t holding a brick texture should be glowing, they are not):


I have tried building all levels as I heard that might fix it in one forum and also “force precompute visibility” but still everything seems to be lit when I turn off my lights and thus causing interference with any work I do in this scene. Any help would be appreciated.
