Why is blueprint's grid so bad and how do I fix it?

See image for reference. Why is there a grid if nothing actually lines up on it?

I just disabled the grid. Never looked back again. You can keybind alignment commands to straighten the lines if you must.

Hi Matt,

Just FYI the setting that Everynone mentioned is Edit → Editor Preferences → ‘Use Grids In The Material And Blueprint Editor’

Straight execution lines is really what those BPs you posted needs though. The default keybind to straighten connections is ‘Q’.

disable that thing and do your eyes a favor

I always feel obligated to mention Blueprint Assist plugin for post like this which I consider to be the most essential plugin for working in unreal. Push one button and graph organizes with perfect consistency. Never organize or think about that again.

It has me so spoiled, if I look at somebodies blueprint and its not organized with Blueprint Assist standard, I don’t even want to look at it. Wave it away like a king. “No no, this is not to my liking.”
