Why I have to set the intensity of light to 1000 as others set it to about 10?

My friend set the intensity of light to 12,and it’s effection is as bright as my light.
My light is about 2000 ,is there any setting I change ?

Hi, you have to uncheck ‘Use inverse squared falloff’ parameter inside your light settings.

thanks for your answer,but it is strange ,I can’t not find the "use inverse squared falloff " on my panel, am I choose the wrong type of point light?
