My main question (sorry for the long rant to follow) is: Why haven’t we seen updates for the Husk spawner since the start of UEFN and will we see anything for them down the line in the next year?
Husks are Fortnite’s equivalent of “Zombies” or “Infected” as they are people/creatures taken over by The Storm, however we have “Zombie” skins like the zombie soccer/superhero skins. We also got given the “TWDU” Crossover license for UEFN with special animations, mechanics etc for the NPC Spawner.
Why haven’t Husks and the various “Zombie” skins been given the same treatment as they are Epic licensed creations, Better yet whatever happened to husks following the AI path device and when are we going to get customisation regarding them like color palette, size and maybe even model? I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to add player models and reduce the max size to player height… right?
It seems unjust to those in 1.0 (partially me included) who like to make Zombie survival based experiences but don’t want to make it look/feel like a copy of fortnite STW because the colors of normal husks being either Purple or Blue. Imagine Nitro Orange colored normal husks or River of Styx Green/Red or Midas Touched Gold tint?
