Why does Unreal not support cross-compiling on linux?

Im asking because it’s a feature that would make things faster… I have a server with debian and thought something like hey maybe make a ue4buildfarm because the server has so much ressources. But sadly unreal engine doesn’t support cross compiling for linux which I can’t understand. I mean building binaries for windows on linux works perfect.

So this is my feature request -> Cross Compiling and Cooking on Linux.


seconded. Is there some technical or legal issue preventing this? Or is it just a matter of doing it? I’m up for submitting some patches but this might need a more coordinated effort…
