Why does Twinmotion crash when trying to load fbx from 3dmax?

Hi all...this has always been my problem with TM. Program crashes when trying to import files - we often work with big masterplans = big file sizes.​

Don't have this issue​ with similar type of programs? Won't mention names...

Would you be able to submit a bug report here for our support team to investigate these crashes? When submitting your bug report, it would be very helpful if you can send a copy of your crash logs (Where to find Twinmotion .log file) and a copy of the FBX files you are trying to import.

As an alternative method for importing your 3ds Max files, you can try using the Datasmith Exporter plugin, downloadable from the Twinmotion Datasmith Exporter plugin for 3ds Max page. This plugin exports content in the .udatasmith format used by Unreal Engine and Twinmotion, and may allow you to bypass the crashes you're getting with the FBX files while we look into it.
