Why does my VR 3rd person character rotate with the headset?

Hello!

I am planning to create a VR 3rd person platformer (like Moss). For this I have a stationary first person character for the interaction with the hands and with the joystick of the Oculus Touch Controller I control the 3rd person character.

This works just as I imagined it would.

However, my problem is that if I move my head to the left or right (with the VR headset), the 3rd person character also moves in these directions. So I always have a slight right or left twist.

Does anyone know how to prevent this? The third person controller is currently the one from UE itself. And there is no camera connected to it. I only have the camera from the first person character (VR).

Would be very grateful if anyone has any ideas or needs more information.

In character details panel search for “use controller yaw”, uncheck the box.

Hi everything is unchecked and the 3rd Person Character is still rotating with my headset movement.
