Why does my custom vehicle randomly stop all movement in the air?

Hi everyone. I’m trying to make a custom vehicle in UE5 based on this famous video

However, when I try to add drag force (to prevent the vehicle from slipping too much) as mentioned in the 5:00 timestamp, as the vehicle jumps off from a wedge, it sometimes just stops in the air out of nowhere as if there’s a wall in front of it. Here is a video to demonstrate my problem.

This is the part where I add my drag force.

I know the part where I add the drag force is the cause of this issue because this issue doesn’t happen if I exclude it from the execution flow and do the basic acceleration/turning input processing. Any insight as to why this might be happening will be so helpful.
