Why does my character move the boat as I add force and how can I stop this?

I’ve been having this issue and I was hoping anyone who may have an idea how to fix it could help. So I’m trying to have this boat move on the water with the buoyancy and everything but for some reason whenever I add force if I walk into the boat the physics forces the boat in the direction Im moving. I tried to change the Linear and Angular Damping which just stops the boat from moving with the waves, I lowered the force of the movement of the character,I increased the mass of the boat (both in buoyancy and in the static mesh. Does anyone have an idea on how I could stop this issue from happen without compromising the “on the water” feel of the boat?

This happens with both this pack that I purchased and the 4.26 water…it only affects the boat when I use “add force” if the boat is sitting on the water it wont happen it will float correctly with the waves.
