Why does my character go through meshes if on a moving platform?

When my character is on a moving platform the collisions no longer seem to work.

As you can see in this screenshot, the bars on eye height should knock him off, but the character goes straight through them:

Not sure about the scale, speed, or context you are in, but in general…

for fast moving collisions you can turn on ccd ( for additional cost)

Another fallback is to use ray tracing manually every frame.

Even on very low speed the character glitches through objects.

I turned on CCD but he still glitches through the objects.

Does anybody know a solution for this?
