Why does every static mesh I have use World Grid material?

I’ve added quite a few free content from the epic launcher to my current project and about 80% of the time there is like 5 - 6 of the assets using World Grid Material or the material is solid white. Why is that?

That means it can’t find the material that goes there.

When I open the map that’s associated with the assets the materials work fine after 3 minutes of loading, it’s only when I try to use them in my own personal level that they are either world grid or solid white. Is it due to being made in a diff version?

If you mean that you open them in a different project then that means that the asset files are available in that project but not in your new project, you need to use the asset migration option to properly copy assets from one project to another.
