Why does direct datasmith (Rhino7) not update my twinmotion model after changing layers inside a block?

somehow the synchronize option stops working when changing rhino 7 objects inside their blocks to a different layer. I am crashtesting... it seems to start working again after opening the model again in rhino.

are there updates available that i am unaware of?

I am using:

Rhino 7.28.23058.03001

datasmith 5.1.1.0

Twinmotion 2023.1.0

also.. i would like to use the collapse by material option (which is part of the problem in this case) i organize my layers in rhino by material. so the collapse by material seems an efficient workflow.

Is this issue still occurring for you? Since your post, we've released Twinmotion 2023.1.2 and Datasmith version 5.2, which is downloadable from the Twinmotion Datasmith Exporter plugin for Rhino page.

If it still occurs on the latest versions of Twinmotion and Datasmith, please submit a bug report here with a copy of the affected files for our support team to investigate.
