Why does answerhub log me out after 11 nanoseconds?

I assume everyone else is having this. When you try to answer a question on answer hub, the timer starts and you have about 1 minute before you’re timed out and have to login again.

I know we need to keep the spamming idiots out of the system, but there must be a better way than this…

Lol. I didn’t notice the timing of it. But I get it sometimes. I’m suddenly not logged in, so I have to click Login. Then when I click to submit the reply, a popup asks whether I want to leave page or stay. I have to select ‘‘leave page’’ for it to process my response and post it. Then I’m logged in again.

Yeah, I get that too. But quite often, I login, look at a question, type two lines only to discover I can’t press the ‘comment’ button because I’ve been logged out again.

It’s defintely in the 2 minute region… by the time you’ve made a couple of pics and typed something, uh, logged out…

THE ANSWER IS:

AnswerHub is not HTML that EPIC paid for on fiverr - despite appearances.

the company you want to complain to is: https://devada.com/

they claim “developers, working for developers” or something SERIOUSLY RETARDED like that
literally if you were a developer you would not need answerhub “technology”
so you’re a fake developer if you do, especially since you could get better on fiverr

so its literally fake developers for fake developers.
its not epic.

  1. log in time-out for security, well this would be for performance not security
  2. 25 people use UE4 answerhub, a literal pentium 75 from 1995 could run the entire app and the database
  3. the time-out does not even allow you to type up a question before it ends, questions are supposed to be succinct
  4. theres no user interface whatsoever, only a complete idiot that clicks on everything could find where “see your own posts” is hidden
  5. theres no user interface whatsoever, there’s not even a way to see new posts that is apparent
  6. literally all these problems can be fixed in 2 minutes flat with 1 line of code each.

OVERALL:

this community likely could have been a lot better, but its probably already failed at this point and will never recover.

epic may or may not have a substantial part of a billion dollars in “cash assets” now
which is way way way more than anyone else in the country has in general

cash is not something companies tend to have a lot of
most sales are reported as stock sales and not as actual consumer sales/retail sales

so what’s the excuse from epic
who has asked epic

i’ve asked epic all kinds of things they refuse to comment on anything related to unreal engine
they refuse to even talk about unreal engine

i live 5 minutes from them i’m eventually going to go to their headquarters when my game is done and “try” to have a serious talk with them when i’m wearing a suit and maybe have 10 people from my MEETUP group here in cary to back me up what the hell their problem is

Usually when I’m about to submit comment/answer I open a clone tab to make sure I am logged in… it’s silly…

i refresh when i, well i keep tabs open - … its not bad now in the new edge
which is chrome

if i refresh and keep to 30 seconds of chat i think its maybe 2 minutes
and im good ? it logs me in if i click the post button, no matter where

they have to be playing some kind of g.d. game with their clients
like upgrades and ****
