Why do we still not have square thumbnails?

Square Thumbnails were announced around 2 years ago, so where are they?

Right now, it feels like just a hassle to make my thumbnails into a square form. But for what purpose? Square Thumbnails still haven’t released so why bother?

We either need Epic to:

  • Finally add or give us a date for them
  • or remove them entirely

I don’t want to keep making thumbnails to prepare for something that’s never coming.

So just don’t do them if they are not visible anywhere. You can always create and add them later if necessary.

They do this with a lot of things. They say they’re gonna be adding them but they don’t get added for a couple years like with the first person device, right now it’s in beta and they have previously tested first person in save the world and in a live event.

So what I did was make a square thumbnail anyway and once they do make it a feature if they ever do, it will automatically change it. So you won’t have to worry about it…
