Like why cant I just explode it with verse. Why do I NEED to pass an agent to just blow up the device? Oh because you guys made this device so that your example island would work fine but any other use for this device, screw it! I mean what are you guys doing over there seriously. What if I just wanted to blow the device up using verse. I have to find a random player to pass just because? Why not atleast include an Explode() function that doesn’t take in an agent? Like who are yall assigning to make these devices because there is no way its humans. It has to be the terrible AI at this point.
I mean here I am stupidly thinking I’ll make a demo quickly for an idea I had and the third device I place down already has issues because of developers design decisions. The worst part is the tools are here. The greatest advantage of UEFN is the devices, props, etc. But the implementation is shotty at best.
And I know I can use direct even binding, but what if I don’t want to? What if I just want to keep everything nice an need in verse. And I have no way of even knowing if the device exploded or not with direct event binding because I won’t get that from the ExplodedEvent() in verse because there is no agent.
