Why do I keep getting bind error pose?

Hi
I’m trying to import a new asset into my game but every time I do the engine crashes, it hasn’t happened on any of my other assets and I can’t figure out what the problem is. I’ve tried numerous things including

  • importing the mesh on its own (which works)
  • making a new armature (crashed)
  • making a new armature with just one bone in it (crashed)
  • making and texturing a new mesh and rigging to armature (crashed)

I’ve attached the error report and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to have a look for me. thanks muchly in advance

just now tried exporting and importing another object with a new armature and it’s crashing the engine too.
