Why do certain generated cpp files take multiplicatively longer to compile in UE5?

There is a chronic compilation issue we’re seeing with ue5 (early access 2) that we did not see in ue4. Certain files will take 5-10x to compile and as the “build guy” it falls to me to at least ask - are we doing something dumb? Is there a reason the generated code files would take longer to build in UE5?
