I’m reading doc about zenserver.

It mentioned that
For a buildfarm environment, we disable the local DDC entirely and rely more on heavy usage of the shared DDC from every buildfarm machine that does cooking.
I want to know why this is done? What are the advantages of disabling the local DDC during cooking.
