Am I correct in my understanding that to snap a vertex from one object be it imported Geometry or a BSP Geom Brush…
First I must Move its Pivot Point[alt+v,then MiddleMouse] (and set it if I want it to stay there)
Then drag the object from its Pivot Point and press V for it to snap to another vertex?..
…Why cant I just drag any vertex point and drag it to another vertex point? If I want to rotate, sure I will move the pivot but why is the UE5 editor like this … in 2022? its also quite laggy with just two boxes in the viewport. I just want to create a small scene quickly to test out player movement.
That being said is it just better to create an FBX scene in 3D software and Import all objects together?
