Why can't Landscape Splines be referenced in Blueprints at all?

I’m seriously angry about this. Why can’t Landscape Splines be used in Blueprints?

This is a very important element in incorporating gameplay into the landscape. It is one of the few methods that can provide both spline information and the terrain along it at the same time. Why does the editor restrict access to this spline?

I think this is harassment of Blueprint users. It makes no sense that they don’t even allow access to spline points. Maybe they were aiming to eventually move to Blueprint brushes, but the performance is a world apart.

It’s already 2026. Isn’t it about time we implemented the minimum functionality?

After my continued efforts, I have managed to synchronize the Landscape splines with the spline mesh in the Blueprint. Since the Landscape Spline cannot be referenced anywhere, i extracted the spline points and tangents from the spline mesh of the Landscape Spline.

But the really stupid thing is that we can’t register or tag a Landscape Spline to a variable. This means there is no way to individually identify Landscape Splines.

WTF is this garbage? I never imagined it would be so useless. What were the people who designed this feature thinking? This is the most ridiculous feature I’ve ever seen.
