Why can't I install any plugins on my Unreal5?

Clicking the install button does nothing.

I’ve having this issue as well. My plugin won’t download for UE5, but works for UE4.7. Some of my customers are having the same issue.

UPDATE: Appears issue was fixed with an update.

Yes, after today’s update, plugins can be installed. But after installing the plugin, it prompts “Could not find file: UnrealHeaderTool”… I am reinstalling Unreal5…

I’m still having this issue–tried running as admin, adding exceptions for antivirus, all of that, but still can’t get it to download–anyone figure this out?

Install to Engine not working on UE 5.2

Installed UE 5.2, but having problems with plugins refusing to download and install. I click “Install to Engine”, select 5.2, then click Install. It then just does nothing. It refuses to download and add it to the engine. I’ve also checked in the VaultCache (\ProgramData\Epic\EpicGamesLauncher\VaultCache) and it doesn’t exist there either. Has anyone had a similar issue? If so how do you clear this up? This is a plugin that is installed on my 5.1, but is marked 5.2 ready. Specifically it’s the …

Never mind: Plugins folder is now separate from engine content, unchecked by default.
