Why can't I find the lobbies with players in them for my creative maps?

My creative map numbers are basically zero, but when I see 5+ players on my maps I try to hop servers to find them and I usually can’t find a single lobby with a player in it.

Are my players playing my maps in private?

Is there a way for me to publish my maps as public only?

Most likely, players are joining your map in private parties or through matchmaker, not in public lobbies.
