Seems to work pretty well. Are you sure you’re not doing something more complex than you lead us to believe here?
If you manipulate something in the level and then save the level, you lose the undo history.

Hi ,
I accidentally move the camera and cannot undo with ctrl + z. What is Camera undo key in Unreal Engine 4.25?
I have open Undo History window and it won’t record any of my camera movement.
Could you please describe in more detail the issue you’re having. Is the camera a part of another blueprint? Any details so we have at least something to work with.
Above, I drag the camera with the mouse and hit ctrl+z to snap it back. In this very case, all transactions are recorded correctly:
Does this not work for you?

Undo History is not recording
It’s too small to see here. But it seems you’re moving the viewport view, not the camera… Do correct me if I’m wrong.
So it’s not about moving a camera at all then? Is it about piloting the actor? It seems to work, no? What am I not seeing?
My friend ,
If I want to make the camera view, I have to adjust it from the Camera Viewport.
And after my Camera viewport is set I don’t want to move around anymore.( I am aware that there is Transform lock option) .
But sometime we have to adjust the camera viewport to get better view.
If the view is not what we want ,we need to go back to previous camera position.
All these changes and adjustment we have to do it from Camera viewport.
If we can’t use (Ctrl+Z) command for camera movement in the viewport how can we adjust my camera view?
Same problem here… accidentally pressed F in the wrong viewport and the camera move is lost (if it wasn’t locked, in case small adjustment were planned)
In Maya there is a separate undo history for viewport navigation
So… did the devs figure this out or are we still waiting? seems like a dumb problem to me that should have been solved before big bang.
As far as I can tell I can only use ctrl+Z to undo a camera movement if I have a sequence open. If not, it does not work. It indeed feels like something very simple to fix for epic!
