Why aren’t the title and description translated even after I turned on the automatic translation feature and launched the game? It hasn’t been translated once on any of my islands. I’ve tried changing the language and testing, but it only appears in English (the language I entered when launching).
It does seem like the automatic translation feature isn’t working consistently—I’ve seen a few other creators report the same.
From my understanding, the current system doesn’t retroactively translate already published island metadata (like title and description) unless:

The island is republished after enabling auto-translation

Or the translations are manually added in the creator dashboard
Try re-publishing your island with auto-translation enabled and see if that triggers the localized versions. Also double-check that your dashboard language settings match your intended test language.
It’s definitely something Epic might want to clarify further for creators relying on localization.
