Why are materials randomly disapearing

I’ve been getting back into UE building in UE5, and out of nowhere my megascans imported materials (doesn’t happen to starter content surfaces) glitch/disappear when I go close to them. It works fine for a while, and if I reimport them they work again, but eventually they start to glitch again. Any idea why this is? It’s like an opaque film is layered over them when I get close. Thanks!


Try to set the screen percentage to 100 in the viewport settings (left top corner).
Are they 4k textures or higher?
