Why am I unable to edit BSP's?

Everytime I try to edit a bsp via geometry mode it won’t work. If I try to delete a bsp it crashes, if I try to add a bsp it crashes too, I noticed a face that’s selected but has no gizmo, and can’t deselect it, I suspect that thing is making this crash, any ideas on how to fix this? I really can’t start a new project again, because this is for my finals…
I’m running Unreal 4.0.2.

Hey popifrex,

Could you provide some screenshots of issue you’re encountering? Specifically, face that can’t be unselected… are you able to select a different face on same or a different brush?

Also, you mention a crash. Can you give us your dxdiag and crash log? Thanks!

Apparently face that can’t be unselected is one that I select before entering geometry mode, so if I deselect if before its ok. real issue here is that everytime I try to move, add, edit or delete a bsp it crashes. but only on this map, I started a new one and it works properly.

Thank you for your report. We were not able to investigate this on engine version you reported, but there have been many version changes to UE4 since this question was first posted. With a new version of Engine comes new fixes and it is possible that this issue has changed or may no longer occur.
