Why altitude of input is negative

Why on the CR, on the prior pose tab, the altitude of input (DJI) is negative?

Hello nang.nh,

when you open the image details outside RC, can you see different altitude?

Yes Ms.Zuzana Ďuríčková CR
The photo was taken at a height above sea level with Phantom Mavic.
With website http://metapicz.com/#landing, i see two altitude.

Are those the values for the image shown in your original post - DJI_0001?

Absolute altitude is the height above sea level from GPS but it can be also negative value, depending on the place on Earth. I believe that relative altitude is the height above launch point. RealityCapture reads the absolute altitude from the Exif or XMP data. would it be possible to share a sample image with us so that we can check if it is correctly loaded from Exif? Thanks.

This is my photo.

I have checked the file. In the metadata, GPS altitude is written as 25.8 m Below Sea Level (also the Absolute altitude is -25.8 m). Therefore, RC reads the exif datat correctly and sets the prior altitude to -25.8 m.
