Hey guys. I am new to this and I was wondering who the licensor is if i publish an android app to google play.This is my first post and I didn’t know where to post it.Thank’s in advance
‘Licensor’ is a term used to define the person that assigns/hands out the license.
I am going to assume that this is the exact same as the legal definition:
“n. a person who gives another a license, particularly a private party doing so, such as a business giving someone a license to sell its product.”
So in this instance you are the licensor as you are licensing the Google Play Store a license to sell your product on their store. Hopefully someone can clarify this understanding, but this is my understanding of this definition in this case.
I know the definition English is not my primary language so i have a little hard time to understand if the licensor is me/google/epic/…
So I think in this instance you are the licensor as you are licensing the Google Play Store a license to sell your product on their store.
The app will be free.

Check this link.I understand this is a must so i have to replace there the product name and the licensor but from that context i dont understand really good.
Okay … in that document I would replace [Licensor] with both your name (or company name) as well as Google Play Store.
So it would read Company Name, Google Play Store, Epic … etc.
This is how I would approach this document. 8-}
Thank you for your help.I hope you are right:)
So do I. 8-}
It is a standard disclaimer … so doing it this way should pose no legal issues. Good luck with your product. 8-}
Thank you very much
